Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE) seeks competitive proposals for up to 70 MW of 2‐hour Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to be located at multiple MTE distribution 25 kV and 12.5 kV substations. MTE is seeking proposals for both direct ownership (“Direct‐Buy”) and a Tolling Agreement (TA) project structure.
